ABOUT ME

Chantal D. Jones

Hey Beautiful People! My name is Chantal D. Jones, Esq and I am a graduate of Widener University School of Law, and an undergraduate of Millersville University earning a BA in Government and Political Affairs with a minor in Sociology/Criminology. As a licensed member of the Georgia Bar, I specialize in the area of entertainment, intellectual property, contracts, and business law. Having a personal passion for the Arts and entrepreneurs, my specialty lies in the music and film industry, in addition to working with minority business owners in protecting their brands. My main goal is to assist clients in making the best decisions for their entertainment and business endeavors while securing and getting the best protection possible.

As a Philadelphia native, I have performed in several theatrical productions since my adolescence at the Walnut Street Theater and the Prince Music Theater and also graduated from the Philadelphia Dance Company also known as Philadanco.

After receiving my J.D., I worked as an independent attorney while developing my entertainment practice servicing a range of clients in the entertainment industry such as musicians, recording artists, songwriters, producers, entrepreneurs, and fashion designers. I have also teamed up with other entertainment law firms and assisted on other projects as well.

​

During my time at Widener Law, I earned a position in the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society, winning an award for the Most Outstanding Performance (2L) in 2012 and served on the Widener Journal of Law, Economics and Race. I also served on the executive board for the Black Law Students Association, winning an award for Organization of the Year.

​

I was also featured in the Atlanta Tribune February 2018 edition of the Attorney’s Corner highlighting my accomplishments and was labeled as being ‘Bred for Impact’.

​

I currently run my own law practice, Jones Legal Solutions LLC, and am also a real estate closing attorney at Kimbrough Law LLC. I also continue to thrive in the legal community as a member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association. Last, but certainly not least, I am a member of the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated joining others in utilizing effective advocacy and social change that result in equality and equity for all citizens of the world.
